Our principal aim is to reshape the healthcare environment and improve and re-form its architecture. We combine an expert understanding of health planning with genuine design skills at both a strategic and a detailed level.

 

The team’s portfolio of innovative and award winning projects ranges from GP surgeries to hospitals and specialist facilities, mental health buildings and health education centres. We have also designed research facilities for major cancer organisations, the bio-sciences and university laboratories.

 

The healthcare environment has to be redesigned for the long term – we are skilled at anticipating change with design strategies that do not close the door to future flexibility.

 

Our humanist approach places equal emphasis on the functional logistics of hospital design and the creation of therapeutic environments for patients. Through design, we aim to de-institutionalise health environments, empower the patient and create clinically efficient and cost effective buildings.
